The Episcopal Diocese of New York (our diocesan oversight organization) serves over 200 congregations encompassing Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island in New York City, and the counties of Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester.
Episcopal Charities is the outreach arm of the Episcopal Diocease of New York, and equips parish-affiliated outreach programs to transform the lives of those in need in their diverse communities.
Episcopal Relief and Development works in partnership with the worldwide Church to save lives and strengthen communities around the world. Programs are currently focused on alleviating hunger, promoting health and fighting disease, and responding to disasters and rebuilding communities.
St. John's Wilmot strives to care for all of God's creation by supporting Pet Rescue, a non profit organization that aids homeless, abandoned, and neglected cats and dogs in our local area. To that end, we also support the care and healing of the environment. We have an environmental initiative that sponsors essay-writing contests on the topics of recycling and composting in the New Rochelle elementary schools. Additinally, we have parishioners who are active members of the Garden Club of New Rochelle.
