St. John's Wilmot is an open and affirming Episcopal congregation. We support The LOFT: LGBT Community Services Center, located in White Plains, N.Y.

St. John's Wilmot strives to care for all of God's creation by supporting Pet Rescuea non profit organization that aids homeless, abandoned, and neglected cats and dogs in our local area. To that end, we also support the care and healing of the environment. We have an Environmental Initiative that sponsors essay-writing contests on the topics of recycling and composting in the New Rochelle elementary schools. Near the Parish House, you will find a recycling bin for clothes, shoes, and all types of textiles. Additionally, we have parishioners who are active members of the Garden Club of New Rochelle that meets at St. John's Wilmot on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
